Gameplay[]
The gameplay is similar to Turrican 3/Mega Turrican and Super Turrican 2. But the levels are similar to Turrican II and Super Turrican. it also adds new mechanics.
- Button Layout
- Left and Right(Left Joystick) - Backwards/Left and Forward/Right respectively.
- Up and Down(Left Joystick) - Side Directions.
- Up, Down, Left and Right(Right Joystick) - Aim Weapon.
- Square - Shoot.
- Triangle - Throw Bomb/Grenade/Mine.
- Circle - Crouch.
- X - Jump.
Plot[]
The game takes place in 3210, after Turrican III/Mega Turrican and Super Turrican 2. after "seemingly" defeating The Machine, Bren McGuire decided to retire from fighting and settled down on the colony of Alterra. unfortunately, Alterra is controlled by MORGUL with an iron grip. on a different part of the galaxy, The Machine has survived its defeat again, and is heading for Alterra to conquer it. after reaching Alterra, The Machine encountered MORGUL and the two started a war on Alterra and across the galaxy. McGuire who retired from fighting, headed towards the remnants of the United Planets Freedom Forces. after several days The Machine and MORGUL went into conclusion that for the time being, it would be more benefitial of them to join forces in the galactic conquest. fearing that the galaxy would crumble under the tyranny of the evil duo, McGuire has decided to return to the frontline and save the galaxy.
